In recent years, we reduced our opening hours in August and September, the least busy time of the year in the library, in order to be able to use our staff resources as efficiently as possible. For the first time this year, we will not change the opening hours and will offer a reduced service instead.

From 05/08 to 14/09 the lending desk will be open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 8 pm only. The library will remain open from 8pm to 10pm and from 10am to 6pm on Saturdays as a learning space. Loans and returns will not be possible during these times. Information about our opening and service hours can be found here....

Please note in particular the different registration and cash desk times during this period: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri 9am - 15pm; Wed 11am - 6.30pm; Sat closed.

By keeping the regular opening hours in August and September we want to find out the use of the library during that period. Due to staff shortages, the restricted services at the lending desk are unavoidable.
